Ben has arranged for quite a nice vacation from work the last week of February first week of March, and we have been debating the last few weeks what we should do with the time. The original plan was to visit his brother in New Zealand. We have been wanting to go there for quite some time, and with the days off and a willing babysitter were just going to make it happen. I was even studying and researching the NZ guidebook from the library when I got the call from Ben reporting that his brother was going to be in Las Vegas the exact weekend we were set to arrive and that it wouldn't be the best timing.
Now we are considering just a short vacation somewhere.... any suggestions?? Where is your favorite getaway?? .. this is probably one of my most favorite things to do.. dream up fun and exciting places to go. We don't travel as much as I want to, but I sure do think about a lot of places I want to see. ... with or without kids:) tell me where would you want to go??

I would go to Spain hands down. Could I come in your luggage? Or at least could you bring me back some of their candy, they had candy stores everywhere and man were they tempting. How awesome to be able to go where ever you want. Too bad New Zealand didn't work out cuz that sounds awesome.

Lava Hot Springs. I hear they have an awesome Phantom of the Opera room.
I know of a great babysitter that you can leave the kids with. She's cheap for sure! The only cost is an awesome souvenier. This is not from who you think it is. I'm getting a lesson in blogging from KL.
Will people know I am kidding about the Lava Hot Springs thing? I say you go hiking in Peru or something adventurous like that.

Switzerland or somewhere in Europe. Actually, have you been to Hong Kong?? By far the coolest place I've ever been...go for it! Oh what a dream to marry a pilot and be able to travel like that!

Actually guys.... I really loved Amsterdam. I'll go back there any time. Seemed easier than Paris. I'll have to talk to you about Zed Fares. They are my new best friend. Take a zed fare to Tahiti!
ASTORIA OREGAN! THAT PLACE IS BEAUTIFUL! Right by the ocean coast with crabs and sea lions. also they filmed the GOONIES there. and you can visit the Goonies house.
