today marked the first week of the home makeover... and the beginning of my most favorite month, October. I love this month, everything about it!! I wish it was double long! Anyway, Ben got called to work over the last weekend, a five day trip all over California, Montana, Arizona and Utah.. needless to say I wasn't too useful at the house. I did manage to paint a few ceilings and watched my dad while he painted some trim. Oh, and I spent the entire morning session of Conference on Saturday scraping off some ivy decorative stickers all over the bathroom tile.. man, probably took the previous homeowners 5 minutes to ramdomly place them all over, and me hours to take them off. Even in my own house I feel like it's my first day of work at a new job... just useless, don't know what to do. Ben is so great though. I like to sit out there with him, holding the board here or fetching his tools. Leah was out there with me tonight, so mostly I was holding her while trying to help out. Ben is just really efficient and thorough.. doing an excellent job. And a coat of paint, man it makes such a difference!! Hopefully we'll have the kids rooms done soon so that we can make them a little place to be comfortable without sheetrock dust and yuckiness.
Happy 5 month birthday to my little one today. She is sound asleep now, but don't know how long that will last.. for some reason she has been cutting all her sleeps a bit short. may have something to do with her obnoxiously loud brother.. Noah is about two notches louder than any other kid I know.. but I love them both.

I can't wait to see some pics of the house! You should post stuff as you go to keep record of all your hard work! :) So, you mentioned Noah is loving the books on tape. Where do you get them? Simon has one that he loves and I'm needing something new for him to listen to!
