People don't tag me often... and maybe they do, and I just don't notice, then they never tag me because they think I'm a flake because I don't continue the tag, so here goes. Isn't it funny this new blogging trend. Sometimes I have to have some real self control not to waste the kids entire naptime just 'blog surfing' as I call it. And Ben gets so annoyed when he catches me looking at blogs that I don't even know the people. And how weird is this, sometimes I check in on a couple that I don't even know. There names just happen to be Ben and Camille, and now I know a lot about them.. how crazy am I?? anyway, the house is coming along.. both bedrooms are painted and the laundry room and bathroom are nearly completed as well.
8 shows i like to watch:
1. Survivor (I once convinced Ben to send in an audition tape, we both watch it together)
2. Office (we sometimes stock up on grape soda just because Jim drinks it, but I think he switched to something else..??)
3. any simple cooking shows, love new recipes and to image what the food tastes like
4. channel 2 news, i'm actually quite particular with my news stations
5. supernanny
6. wife swap
7. and i'm with you claire, the cosby show. i actually rented every season on netflix when we were in hawaii..it was fun to watch an episode or two every night.. love it!!
8. everybody loves raymond.. i only started watching this recently, but it's super funny, i'm always laughing out loud, even when i watch it alone.
8 things that happened yesterday:
1.piano lessons
2.looked for noah's halloween costume (bonus points for anybody who knows what power Super Why has??? )
3. helped prepare the walls to be painted in our new house
4. had a killer headache that i chased with a coke
5. rocked leah to sleep for several hours because she was a touch sick
6. read my book "eat, pray, love".. thanks for the recommendation amy, so far i love it.. i've been inspired to travel to europe, although i've been to rome, so i think paris is my destination.
7. showered, i love love love to shower.. i think it's mostly just the 10 minutes to myself that i love
8. budgeted with ben... a task that i don't necessarily enjoy, infact it was depressing.
8 favorite places to eat: i don't go out too often, and usually it's not fancy, so here goes:
1. pei wei
2. pf chang
3. carls jr... i actually really like their $1 hamburgers
4. bajio. green chili chicken quessadillas are my favorite.. but who can pay $9 for a quesadilla???
5. the park, i love simple sandwich and finger food picnics at the park
6. wendy's kids meals, what kid doesn't love a wendy's kids meal??
7. juniper takeout
8. cafe sabor, mostly because i love to see how much joy ben has when we go there.. he loves loves loves the place
8 things i'm looking forward to:
1. backpacking for a week in paris with ben, and no kids.. this will happen it's my goal
2. traveling to n.carolina, inspired by nicholaus sparks, i can just imagine how romantic and beautiful it is there., again probably no kids
3. everyday i look forward to just sitting in the rocking chair and reading
4. halloween
5. moving to our new house
6. christmas
7. ben coming home tonight
8. breakfast, i'm feeling kind of hungry right now.

2-AFV! America's funniest home videos! I laugh so hard that my family isn't even laughing at the show they are laughing at me! lol
3-Andrew zinnamins bizzare foods! on discovery channel! I love Discovery Channel
4-ABC Family, I love this channel because they always have an awesome movie to watch!
5-2 and a half men! my dad and autumn, and luke have gotton addicted to that show, and I like it alot too. it's pretty funny
6-Beverly Hillbillies! my dad got me started on them!
7-TCM, Turner Classic Movies. I love watching classic movies on this channel with my dad.
8-yogabba gabba with len! OH MY! Hate the show. but I love to watch it with len because he dances!lol. hes got some sweet moves!
8 Things that happened today.
1-LAST DAY OF SCHOOL! Now it's fall break!
2-got the New Testament song stuck in my head from seminary. it's all the books of the new testament in the tune of Joy to the Man. it's always stuck in my head
3-read a boring book in English. it's quite funny though because the main charcter is named Allison so whenever they mention allison in the book everyone looks at me! lol
4-played a hard last game of soccar in gym! now were going to play volleyball! Yes!
5-Mom surprised me with new flip-flops!
6-went to shopko and bought me 3 dollar vans, and original 40 no 25 dollar pants! We were bargain shopping!
7-rented The Golden Compass which wasn't that bad actually
8-had chicken noodle soup

1-SUBWAY! 5 dollar foot longs! oh ya!
2-Elmatador
3-Junipor, we always go there with grandma when were up there

7-Johney Carrinos. If you ever go there order blackberry italian soda, but ask them to put vanilla in it! it is so good!

I think the tag thing is quite interesting, but I love to read them about everyone! So thanks for continuing. I have this same tag on my e-mail. Funny how it goes around. Also when do we get to see pictures of the new house? I'm anxious to see it! :)
Super Why has the power to READ! Sad that I know that? I love that you love the Cosby Show too, in fact I have a faint memory of us skipping school and watching it together or something? Oh, and I recently watched Everybody Loves Raymond and laughed a lot too. I didn't used to like it, but I guess I can relate to the show more now, as a mom. Oh, and I LOVE my showers too. It really is the only time you have by yourself.
