time is flying

It's hard to believe that our baby is 2+months old.. we had a whirlwind weekend last week. It all turned out fabulous. I have to admit I did have a breakdown before it was over.. but now things have settled down. Leah's Blessing was a special day for us, and we had so much support from family. Thanks to all of you for making the effort to come. I haven't got a copy of all the pictures taken that day, I'd really love to show off her beautiful dress that my mom and grandma sewed for her. I'll have to do that when I get the pictures. Skywest is keeping Ben busy, but I hope we can sneak in another little vacation before the month is over. Any suggestions on fun, family friendly destinations that were your favorite (preferrably close to an airport:) ). Oh, and I have yet to purchase a new stroller.. I'm still considering what to do. However, we did finally break down and bought a TV, we had been thinking/looking for awhile. We originally had an okay TV we got after our wedding, but sold it before we headed for Hawaii. After we returned we didn't have a TV at all, then my parents got a new one, so they gave us their old TV.. It was pretty small, and not the greatest quality. We both haven't sat down to watch a movie yet, but the night we got it Noah was so excited to come home and watch his Potty Show.. I have watched a few movies while Ben has been gone working, and I know he's excited to watch Transformers.

Oh, last things.. I can't meet tomorrow for the park.. I didn't go last week either.:( I'm going down to my sister- in laws house.. we've been planning it for a week and I'm really excited. But I hope that other people still plan to go.. Noah talks about having lunch in the park, and playing with Kaden.:).. The park is so much more fun when you go with friends!!

sweet Leah, I love to hold her like this.. I wish she would stay this small forever.. she is so sweet and a great baby.
Leah's Day.. I have another picture with Noah in it, but don't have it on my computer right now. Thanks Summer for her bracelet, it looked adorable with her dress. Isn't my husband so handsome??
And Noah, this isn't a recent picture, but I thought I would stick with the black and white theme. This picture is right after his most traumatic hair cut.. why is this kid such a scaredy pants?? hair cuts, fingernail trims, a little Shamu splash, dentist chairs... woah, don't ruffle his feathers. But he sure is sweet and keeps me loving life all the time. I'm so glad that I get to stay at home and be with my children, even though I often complain that I need a break, I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Her dress was beautiful!!!! Yes Kaden always says "I am going to go to the park and play and eat with Noah". He gets so excited for the day to come and play and eat. He knows the day after church is the day to go.

Camille, you are so great. You inspire me that it might be OK to have 2 kids someday! I agree, that all those pictures are so dang cute! I'm so glad the bracelets worked out, I loved having them for Emma when she was a tiny little bug. She's getting too big (and I'm getting too lazy) to wear them now. We miss you guys and the wonderful Logan 10th ward! If you're looking for a good vacation spot, we LOVE Yellowstone Park, or Navoo (although it's a 2 hr. drive from the airport).

Camille - I have been reading the IKEA book all weekend - and every time I see that silly lamp, I kick myself. So I have been doing penance for my big mouth. Anyway, your blog title says 2007, and I think it was 2008. Either that, or time has really been speeding by!
