Phoenix in July

...woah, who can live in that crazy heat. Ben flew to Phoenix over the weekend and I decided to ride along. It was insanely hot there. We spent most of the time in the hotel, and finally ventured outside at 8pm to swim in the pool... Leah was a great traveler, and Noah got to spend the weekend with G-pa and G-ma.. I'm sure he had just as much fun as we did! I think for next months destination we'll choose somewhere a little more cool. We didn't get out of the hotel much, just relaxed in the air conditioning, but on the way back to the airport we snapped a few photos.. it's kind of a funny angle because we only had our luggage to prop the camera on top of..

We've also done some really fun things the last few weeks. Our good friends took us out on their boat. Ben was a pro at wakeboarding, me not so much. I did actually try it, for those of you who know me well, I'm sure you are suprised.:) I only made it up once and it was only for a few milliseconds, Ben said if I just tried again I probably would have been good to go, but the previous attempts had nearly ripped my arms out of their sockets that I was just pretty much done for.. i'm still sore to this day.

Noah had a great time waving and throwing candy at a neighborhood parade on the 24th. We decked his tricycle out with streamers and balloons.. it's so fun to see kids so excited.

we want to try to hit the Dinosaur Museum in Ogden sometime this week or next.. Girls camp is coming up next week.. and Noah has a cavity to be filled next Monday.. oh, and Noah's been doing a little naked piano playing... hope none of my piano students see this, they may want to find a new teacher:) ... he doesn't do this often, in fact we dont' let him run around without any clothes, we just tried a new potty training technic one morning.. didn't work though.

That picture of Noah is hilarious! Potty Training can be so stressful. We were so glad when Myra finally got the hang of it. I have to admit that we resorted to bribery, but hey, it worked! Good Luck!

It's so fun you get to travel and see new spots. An air conditioned room sounds like heaven to me- we don't have air conditioning at home though. That photo of Noah is way too funny. One day he'll die that you took that:) Hey, you gotta have some proof of childhood and potty training sagas!

those are cute. naked little noah on the piano. how is potty training? not fun, I'm assuming, that's how it was for us. Leah looks like a sweetie.
Come on, you don't think you could live in 115+ degree weather? It's not THAT bad...jk, it really is. I don't know how we survived down there. Course, we didn't have kids old enough to really want to go outside anyway, so that made a huge difference. I had friends who would take their kids to the park at 6 am!! I admit I did get sick of feeling like I was walking into a sauna when I would walk out of our house...and I don't miss the $200 electric bill to keep our house semi-comfortable. Fun that you guys get to travel so much.
