still in colorado

Here we are still in Colorado.. Ben is busy with appointments, and Noah and I are trying to stay entertained with just about anything we can think of. He's been watching way more TV than usual, but at 8am in the morning, nothing is open so that is pretty much our only option. Thankfully I think today is toddler story time at the post library. In Missouri, the library had lots of toys and tables and fun stuff to look at.. this library is just books. So about an hour into our library visit, Noah gets pretty bored. Last night we took Noah bowling. He was stoked because he chose a yellow bowling ball, like the sunshine. After every time he'd say, "great job, mamma".. or "i did a great job". my friend had said that her bowling game was all messed up from being pregnant, but i had one of my best games i've had in a while.. even beating ben for our first game:138. Ben redeemed himself on our second game, and Noah nearly beat me.

We brought a handy GPS unit with us to navigate around post and throughout Colorado Springs.. what would we do without it?? everytime the lady comes on for the directions, Noah asks "who's that" or "what's that voice".. it's funny, he's so confused about there being somebody else in the car with us. but it's been so handy, especially for me as the naviagtor.. i just punch in the buttons, and off we go.

ben has appointments today and tomorrow, and then possibly we may be finished here and heading home on thursday or friday.. i wouldn't mind if we had a free day to go up to denver to check out the city.. also, the weather hasn't been warm enough to enjoy some of the outdoor adventures here, so if it was warm then we could go check out the garden of the gods and waterfalls and such. having a great time though.. no pictures, i forgot the cord that attaches to the computer.
