new homeowners
it's official, we've got the keys and everything. today was day one of our home makeover.. we've got lots of work ahead of us, but we're both excited and see lots of potential in the home. ben has already cut a big hole in the wall where we'll be making a bigger openening and archway. i'll post a few pictures here and there, but not tonight.. too tired. it's rough trying to keep two kids happy and entertained while carrying a hammer and drill (or electric screwdriver like i usually call it). for some reason noah has been particularly clingy to ME.. ben can't undo his seatbelt, ben can't carry him downstairs, ben can't get his milk, ben can't put his shoes on. i'm not quite sure what to do, but for all of our sanity i try to just cheerfully be the one to help him with the above items.. making for one warn out momma.

Congrats on your new home! I am excited to see it! It must be an age thing cuz jax is the same way lately! Kinda drives ya nuts when daddy is right there huh? Oh well I guess we just enjoy them anyway! We need to get together sometime maybe with Bre too? Let the kids run around at a park or something while it's still nice outside? Let me know if your up for it..

Addy gets clingy like that too, off and on. I'm glad to hear she's not the only one. Sometimes it makes Jaran feel bad that out of the blue she will want nothing to do with him. he thinks her girl moodiness is already starting :)

Yeah for you guys! I am excited to see pictures! Corban is the same way about being clingy, but it is with Steve instead of me! It makes me feel bad, and I think it does tend to wear out STeve, I told him to enjoy it while he can, unfortuantly him being the favorite wont last forever:) (I hope anyway, I miss the kid!)
I can't wait to see pics! If you need a babysitter while you guys work on the house, let me know! If I'm home I'd love love love to watch your kids!! Noah and Simon would have a blast together and maybe Leah will help Cody want another baby sooner than later! :)
That is Great! I'm excited for you and to see youre improvements! about noah maybe it's time for a father-son outing. maybe if ben and noah went by themselves somewhere fun like fishing or, whatever they enjoy doing together he would have fun then and probably turn his attention to daddy

Yea. So glad you got the keys. We will still have to do the park next yr (sorry I haven't been able to do it just recently). If you need help with the kiddo's send them over. They would have fun. Kaden would enjoy Noah over to play. Also enter my drawing lol.
Ben is quite the handyman. I remember the really cool bookcase he made. It's black and geometric. Very impressed.
So happy for you guys. Houses are a lot of work, but so worth having a place to call your very own. Sure wish I was home during the day so I could take your kids for a while. If you need someone in the evenings though, give me a call. I'd love to help you out. Best of luck and be sure to take photos of the makeover!
