Suprise, I'm actually blogging

Okay, so I have to admit that while on the internet I spend most of my time reading other peoples blogs and none of my time on my own blog.. my life is pretty boring. I'm sure there are people out there who just stop checking our blog, but my new goal is a post a month.. so here is the post for february.

Valentines day came and went for us, with Ben being gone out of town. Luckily, I went to the store on Friday (the day after) and stocked up on abunch of V-day treats.. not much of the selection, but all 50% off. Ben never knew that I didn't buy them on Valentines Day... makes me think, hm.. which other holidays can I take advantage of this?? probably not Halloween, and Easter would be too weird to not have an Easter basket on Easter Sunday. Anyway, this year it worked out okay because we didn't celebrate until Friday anyway.

Ben has officially been flying the friendly skies.. I wonder what he will think of this picture on our blog, oh well. Before his first flight he wanted to make sure his uniform was all squared away. Complete with the aviator glasses and everything.. earlier we had taken Noah to the eye doctor and he himself got some new sunglasses.. so here they are, like father, like son. (Ben got Noah a pilot hat for his birthday, he loves to wear it to be just like his daddy).
This Saturday we'll all be traveling to Fort Carson Colorado for some military business.. I'm stoked about the vacation from teaching piano lessons, and the change to check out Denver/Colorado Spring. When we return, Ben will be starting his more regular routine of commuting to Chicago for three -four days at a time. I'm not looking forward to this, but hopefully all will change when he can get back to Salt Lake, or not quite as bad; Denver.
Noah has been giving us trouble at night... well, it's only trouble when daddy is home. He is waking up after only 1 or 2 hours being put to bed and walking into our room. He wants to hop right up and sleep "cheek to cheek" on ' mamm's pillow'. so i don't love the cheek to cheek, but when Ben is gone, there is plenty of room in the bed and on cold nights no encentive to send him back to his room.. besides, sleeping on his floor at 5 months pregnant is not comfortable (which is how i am most successfull at putting him back to bed). so, lately there has been one too many people in our bed... and with my extra big tummy, makes for not so comfortable night sleep.
So that's it so far.. don't give up on our blog yet.. someday it'll be exciting. and i'll get better at getting the camera out.

yeah! finally a new post. I still check all the time just in case. Does this mean they aren't staying in the hotel down here anymore? Will you be coming down as often? Let me know, so we can still get together. Love ya.

I love the picture of the two of them. Noah is such a cute boy. He was so fun to ride with and see his little personality to Park City. We would love to get together sometime!
