a day late... what's the secret??
So for two sales in a row, I've gone to Albertson's/Smith's and I can see EXACTLY where all the good deals are. It's right where the shelves are completely empty, not one product left. When is the best time to go?? My friend went on Thursday last week and she said she had the same problem. I have to admit I'm going on Tuesday the last day of the sale, so I'm just too late.. but is there a good time to go? These deals are killing me.. I so so so want to be in on them, but just can't get it all put together. I've got cereal to last me an entire year I'm sure.. but not the other items. Anyway, any suggestions.

my SIL says that you have to get there when they open (yes early in the AM) on the morning of the first day. I wouldn't know because I don't go to anything but coke and cereal sales.
I love talking couponing, but I'd have to admit Logan's Albertson's is awful!! I've never been able to get anything there I want the few times I have gone. My sister and mom have the same problem and they get so frustrated. I think Cache Valley is a little too congested with couponers. I go to 2 different Albertsons by me and I'm able to get what I want most of the time. I'd just ask Albertsons when they stock. I think it's usually the same times every week. And just go then. Good job for trying though. I know that's so frustrating! Especially when you see the person in front of you in line with 30 boxes of the cereal you were planning on buying!
I always go 6am on Wednesday. Early? YES! But at least I can get what I want and not have to worry about checking back during the week hoping to find what I'm looking for. I hear Logan is really hard to find deals because there are so many coupon shoppers. I would check and see when they stock - it's usually Friday night and Sunday night down here in Lehi. If you can find that out and head out during or just after, then you might have better luck. Sorry it's so frustrating, but the last day of the sale is probably not the best time. I know, too many other things to do, believe me I understand.
Honestly, I know people that go at midnight the night the sale starts. For sure very early the morning of the sale is the only way that you will get any selection on the items. I usually go the first day of the sale after work, and almost always without fail I end up with either a selection I don't like or a rain check. It is so frustrating that I've almost completely given up on Albertsons!
