it's good to be home

I thought we'd never get here. Hawaii was great, but what a nightmare it was trying to get home. Flying standby from Hawaii is not an easy task.. let's just say i don't want to spend the night in the honolulu airport again, especially with two kids. ALl things considered the kids were VERY well behaved, I don't think I heard 5peeps from noah the entire flight home. for those of you who know him, you can pick up your jaw now.. it's all thanks to his comfy car seat for his nap, then the in flight movie selection, madagascar 2 and high school musical 3. leah was a bit squirmy, but a dream. now we're home facing the unpacking and cleanup.. i think leah has caught a bug or has an earache, i'm calling the doctor first thing tomorrow, and ben has a slight cold. i just hope to catch up on some sleep, it'll be much easier when my sunburn finally stops burning. it definately was an adventure and the sunshine and beachtime was surely needed, but worth the hassle.. hm.. i'm not sure on that one. it'll be awhile before i try flying standby to hawaii again, at least with two kids:)

Glad you guys made it home and had a good time. I totally feel for you flying standby with kids. Rough. And I only have one! We should all get togeth again soon.
By the way I love that little beach bum pic of Noah. So adorable.

A few tips for Disneyland....take a stoller! I know you can rent one there but the walk back and forth from the hotel is hard with kids (especially when your already tired!). Also take rain jackets. Even if it's not raining it's good for them to wear on any water rides (hmmm...if they are tall enough for those rides). That's all I can think of for right now but if I remember anything else I'll let you know! Have Fun!!!

Happy to hear Leah is sleeping through the night. It's the kind of thing you wait and wait for, yeah! Hawaii in February, what a good idea!
