leah still not sleeping through the night, but is seven months old and loves trying new foods for dinner.. she's just cut her second tooth and is most happy in momma's arms. i've not been consistent about letting her cry it out.. it's just too too hard, so for now i am still a sleepy mom. she's is pretty much sitting up by herself, but i still prop some pillows/blankets behind just in case. she loves playing with any of noah's toys, until he notices that is. he says, "leah can't play with that, she needs a soft toy." she's growing, way too fast!!

noah celebrated his third birthday. it fell on a Sunday. Ben had to fly that day, so we woke him up with a decorated room.. he had a pancake cake for breakfast and opened a noah's ark book from mom.. than dad was off. we slept our first night in wellsville that night on noah's birthday. then monday we had family over to celebrate and open the real presents. he's so happy with the most simplest things.. we served the refreshments of his request: meatballs, a yellow cake with strawberries.. funny kid.

can you tell his favorite color is yellow.. we went bowling about a year and a half ago, his bowling ball just so happened to be yellow, mine green and ben's blue.. from that point on those were "our colors".
we've moved officially to wellsville.. i like it here, i love our house. there are still a few finishing things to get done but it's starting to feel like home. i actually put the christmas lights up on the railing outside. here we are loading up the garage from bonneville..
And now it's Christmas time, I'm so glad to be in our house before the holidays started. We've got our tree up and a few presents under it. Noah is so excited about Santa and actually sat on his lap the other day. He wants a bulldozer, but I think Santa is bringing some other really fun things. Oh how fun it is to see things from the eyes of a three year old.

I love the simple things about Christmas: singing Frosty the Snowman with Noah, reading "What Snowman do at Night", looking outside at the Christmas lights, decorating the Christmas tree. oh what a great time of year this is. Merry Christmas. More posting to come, I hope. Now that we're getting more settled.
