It's been so long since I've updated the blog, so much has changed. We've been real busy, but also just haven't been motivated to post anything new.. now I'm just tired of the old pictures. So here's a quick update on things around here.
-back to teaching piano lessons, 19 to be exact. tuesday, wednesday, and thursdays are now super busy, but luckily ben has been home on those days to help out.
-we rented out our Bonneville home to a cute newlywed couple.. we thought we were going to purchase another home here in logan, but things fell through... but we had already signed rental contracts so we packed up the house, and put everything into our garage, all within two weeks.. i was pretty sad, i love our little house. and with nowhere else to go. thankfully my parents let us crash in their basement, and since then we've found a charming house out in wellsville that we will hopefully close on the last day of this month. ben has been completely preoccupied with drawing plans and thinking about installing new cabinets in the laundry room. needless to say, we are both excited to start working on a new project, and better yet give my parents back their basement. i've tried real hard to be as non-intrusive as possible, but sometimes it's hard to control a two year old tantrum. i'm going to be taking some before and after pictures of the remodel, so i'll try to post some about it.
-no trips in august, basically the month just flew by.. girls camp, moving, looking for houses, craziness... i'm sad, my goal was to travel someplace each month. that's down the drain, oh well.
-released as yw president last Sunday. :( sad, but yes a little bit relieved. tonight i enjoyed a tuesday night at home. i did enjoy tuesday night with the girls, but sometimes things would get pretty crazy trying to get dinner ready and get to mutual on time.
-Leah is now four months old.. cooing, giggling, and reaching her toys.. i just love her to pieces, she melts my heart. we took her to the doctor today, she's 22% for weight, 12.6pounds. just a little peanut.
-Noah is funnier and funnier by the minute. he loves loves loves nursery, i can't believe he's getting to be one of the bigger kids in there, he'll be going to primary come january. he comes up with the craziest things to say, and lately i have to watch him real close, he's a tease to leah, swiping her binky our giving her a lick.. he knows it's not nice, and sometimes he'll tell me he needs to go to timeout, is it still effective when he wants to go sit there and doesn't mind staying for longer than the recommended 2-3 minutes.?? i wonder. but overall he's a great great kid.
here are a few pictures to cap off the post.. a precious picture of Leah on her blessing day. what a special day, with a special dress and bonnet made by her grandma shauna and great grandma downs.

Leah's pods as we call them.. there is a big swing missing. despite all the options, i still love to hold and cuddle with her during the day. and she does have a real crib to sleep in. we're almost ready for the play saucers now.. time to put away the pods.

how cute is this hat my sister knit for leah.. it's finally fitting her better. we went to the park on the bus one evening, it was a bit chilly and basically just tuckered her right out. snoozin' away.

i just love these bright eyes the way she looks back at me... so sweet.

and can't you just tell he's trouble when he gets around her. and the look of terror in her eyes like, 'help me momma, please.. you don't know what he does to me when you aren't looking'. although, today while attempting to get both kids down for naps, noah gives leah and hug and kiss and says, "love you leah".. real cute. i'm sure they'll be great brother and sisters.

Oh your kids are so cute! That last picture definetely put a smile on my face!! You moved, how come? I would love to see your new place! Brian has an aunt and uncle that live in Wellsville, I wonder if they are in your ward or anything?? If you here of the parker last name, let me know! They are really sweet!! Congrats on the move! It is good to hear what you have been up to!
Ha Ha that makes me laugh because that is exactly what Jax does with Sidnie! If I leave the room for a sec I can come back to a surprise of Jaxon sitting on her or teasing her with his toys, you name it! ha ha :) Thats cool about your house in wellsville hope it all works out for you! We are still not in ours, but hopefully this weekend. You and the kids will have to come and play.
thanks for the update...that's exciting about your new house. we're excited to see it...hopefully we'll be following in your footsteps...

tell ben thanks for the tickets and the runaround on getting us on a flight. we made it back safe and sound (and all together)
That last picture is too funny! I can't believe how much has changed in the last month. Kind of crazy! We missed you at YW last night. It was kind of weird without you guys there, but I am sure you were enjoying a Tuesday night to yourself. We would love to come and see the new house! It will be exciting to start a new adventure but we miss you guys living close. No new baby news yet, but I will keep you posted! Talk to you soon!
We are sad to see you go but I am excited for you getting a bigger house. That will be nice. I can't believe that Leah is only 12 lbs. Broden was that at about 2 1/2 months!
Love the update. We'll be sad that you're leaving the ward, but it's so exciting for you guys to get into a new place and start in on all the projects that come with that, especially while the weather is still decent. Glad I'll be able to keep up with you and your darling family through blogging.

cute pictures! It's fun to hear what you guys have been up to. I need to do the same on our blog. It's easier for me to look at other people's though :) than post my own. I didn't know you were thinking of buying a different home. Why the change? Well, that will be nice. Everytime we drive into Logan and pass through Wellsville, Jaran says, I'd like to live here someday. It's a nice little town. Anyway, it's fun to hear about your kids because ours are in the same stages right now too.
i can't wait to show you what i got in vegas - i hope you like it. i also came away with some super connections!
Great Photos! Your little family is so cute. How are you doing?
Hi, just had a quick minute and remembered you helped me with fonts! Thanks I love adding it to some pictures. I would like to use it more often, but many days just barely get a post in. Glad to see you are all doing well! By the way, we are in West Jordan.
